TeachingTeaching in Linguistics and Cognitive Science is uniquely fun because these are both young disciplines in which people who are just now entering the field can really make a mark. It is also inherently fascinating for students to learn about how we humans work "under the hood". In teaching both graduates and undergraduates, I see my role less about imparting a static body of knowledge than about equipping students with the tools they need to make intelligent observations about real-life phenomena, and with which they can make their own mark on these emerging fields. Below, you can read about some of the recent teaching I have done.
