I have a few other research interests. I've looked at how young children and children with autistic spectrum disorder perceive ambiguous figures, and generate causal inferences, especially about living things. I've examined what preschoolers and school-aged children know about the concept of learning. A student of mine works on a project that investigates whether one's fantasy life predicts individual differences in social and cognitive abilities. Finally, I'm currently running experiments on adult statistical learning attempting to relate issues in this field to issues in causal learning.
