Current Studies at the Child Language Lab

Our research depends on the voluntary participation of local parents and their kids. Check below for information on current recruitment efforts. Thanks so much for your interest!

The Child Language Lab at Brown University  is recruiting children for participation in a language research study!

• Are you the parent of a child who is 23 – 30 months of age?

• Does your child have typically developing language abilities?

• Is English the primary language spoken in your household?

If you answered yes to these questions, then you are eligible to participate!

 

The research study takes place at Brown University, where we will engage your child in a speaking game. Your child would stay with you the whole time.

We will record your and your child’s speech, and ask you to fill out a form regarding the words that your child typically says and the languages spoken at home. 

The session will last about half an hour.  We provide parking in a lot close to the lab, and your child will get a free t-shirt!
